Suicide Bombings Kill 41 People


Taliban claimed to be behind the action standoff Saturday (10/10) in the Pakistani military headquarters in Rawalpindi, near the capital Islamabad.

''As long as Pakistan continued to attack the Taliban, we will also continue to counterattack,''Taliban spokesman said Pakistan Azam Tariq told AFP by telephone.

''Forty-one people were killed and 45 others were wounded in this suicide attack. A total of 12 people seriously injured, "said Mian Iftekhar Hussain, officials authorized to issue the Northwest Frontier Province of Pakistan, told AFP.
