Barack Obama go to Indonesia

One reason the United States President Barack Obama delaying his visit to Jakarta was because he wanted the two daughters, Malia and Sasha, also can come to Indonesia.

According to the Ambassador of Indonesia to the United States, Sudjadnan Parnohadingrat, Thursday, Obama wants to take a second daughter to Indonesia expressed by Deputy Secretary of State Kurt M. Campbell when they met recently.

Obama supposedly did not tell Malia rare (11) and Sasha (8) different memories and experiences during her childhood spent partly in Indonesia.

"Therefore, President Obama also wants his children to feel the memories while living in Indonesia," Sudjadnan said when met at the sidelines of the Diplomatic Reception in the framework of the 64th Anniversary of Independence and Army Day in Washington DC.

Diplomatic reception was attended by among others President Obama's half sister, Maya Soetoro Ng, and Deputy Vice Minister of Commerce, which represents Ira Kasoff U.S. Commerce Secretary Gary Locke.

Obama had sought that the two daughters could go to him in order to visit to Indonesia.

"As described, President Obama had requested permission for the daughter to follow her visit to Indonesia," said Sudjadnan.

"But the principal can not give permission because it is not the holidays," he added. Malia and Sasha attended the Sidwell Friends School in Washington DC.

At private schools, Malia is now a sixth grader, while sophomore Sasha.

Daughter of former U.S. president Bill Clinton, Chelsea Clinton, was also educated at the same school.

As announced by Presidential Spokesman Dino Pati Djalal and the U.S. Embassy in Jakarta, President Obama and President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono have agreed that Obama's visit to Indonesia will be done next year.

The deal was finalized when the two met informally on the sidelines of the implementation of G-20 summit in Pittsburgh last September.

Previously, Obama mentioned will visit Indonesia in November this year, when he made trips to several Asian countries, including to neighboring Indonesia, Singapore.

Despite the canceled visit to Jakarta in November this year, Obama would do a visit to Japan on 12-13 November; Singapore on 13-15 November - to attend the APEC meeting; China (15-18 November) and South Korea 18-19 Novembe
