Bashaer Othman be the only one the world's youngest mayor.
At the age is still 15 years old, students who are still in grade school I was given a Palestinian public office as mayor of Allar, Tulkarm,
West Bank, Palestine.
Bashaer given the opportunity to lead the Allar City for two months, under the guidance of Sufian Shahid, Mayor Allar fact, after he was elected in a youth empowerment program of the Palestinian Authority.

Good afternoon, welcome to Indonesia. Can you tell me how to be a mayor in a young age?
Good day too, happy to be in Indonesia. At first I followed the program for the empowerment of the Palestinian youth. I then competing with thousands of young people who participate in the selection program. The mayor did not like my chosen through elections made public, but chosen by the mayor is actually based on the competence or ability in a variety of ways.
What makes the biggest considerations you choose?
I assessed individual has the ability, among other insights on the state, political, social, and economic. I also have leadership skills. Before this I had led a youth organization in the school. I also had a clear vision and mission for the betterment of the Palestinian people.
You already served two months, what you do during that period?
I am trying to solve people's problems, one of which the availability of jobs. Some time ago I was traveling to some foreign countries. Coming home from there I invite investors and convince them to invest in Palestine. Good results, there are three projects that I get, and I think it will create new jobs.
Tell us your most difficult problems faced during become mayor.
Serving the people of Palestine, especially in legal matters. Actually, they already know the law, but usually they are not satisfied if not directly asked the mayor, so I have to wait to serve them
. The difficulty I experienced was able to satisfy all the people, as well as make the people undergoing the provisions of the City Council. Fortunately, I have good communication skills so they can easily answer questions from them.
Palestine is identical to the area of conflict, would not you afraid of the safety of your soul?
The West Bank that I lead is relatively safe, no gunfire there. Economic growth is good, people earning above average. So, I never felt afraid to lead. This is all for the benefit of the people.
What do you think about the conflict with Israel?
I came here not to discuss the conflict with Israel, it has no part. I just want to inspire young Palestinians that this conflict can deliver reliable leaders. I want to have a Palestinian youth attitudes and develop their civilization.
What changes do you feel within yourself after becoming mayor?
Certainly nothing has changed from my personality. Now, I am more concerned about the interests of the people.
Can you tell your family life?
I was born in a warm family. I live with my father, mother, and five siblings. My fourth child. We live in one house and my brothers are still studying in college. When finished mayor,
I had the full support of the family. They were very supportive of my political career was through. We live in a harmonious and happy family.
What is the reaction comrades once you become mayor?
They were very appreciative and supportive. We stay in touch, even they often provide feedback and communicate with me via the internet. We chat every day and discuss a lot of things for the betterment of the Palestinians.
Do you have a boyfriend?
No, Islam does not allow the relationship of men and women without marital status, whatever form of relationship. Young Muslims were not supposed to think about it. Intelligent youth of Islam to civilization and progress of nation building. Frankly I do not have a Facebook account because sometimes it bothers me in thinking activity. However, I keep abreast of global developments on the Internet.
How do you see the future of young Palestinians?
I am optimistic that we have a better future.
Currently, there are indeed many young Palestinians who tried out to other countries, such as Saudi Arabia, Egypt or other Middle Eastern countries in search of work and looking for a safe area. However, they all have a great commitment to remain a citizen of Palestine. That is, they will come back again. We also believe that the Palestinians will someday be free and sovereign.
In Indonesia, there is often a demonstration of support for the Palestinians who usually wear tagline "Save Palestine". What is your response?
I really appreciate the attention to our country Indonesia. Indonesia is our faithful brother since long ago. I am personally very inspired by Ahmad Soekarno (First President of the Republic of Indonesia, Sukarno). Because he is a character who first voiced that Palestine is a sovereign state without regard to the other countries that do not recognize us.
Is Indonesia famous in your country?
Yeah, especially with the figure Ahmad Sukarno. We call for the Palestinians Ahmad Sukarno knew her name. Indonesia is the largest Muslim country in the world. Support and sounds of Indonesia is giving us confidence. We get more energy when Indonesia speak out and defend Palestine.
What is your final message to the youth of Indonesia?
Youth Indonesia must continue to move forward. Forward Palestine! Forward Indonesia!
