Ministerial meeting of the 21 member economies Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum (APEC) held in Vladivostok, Russia, on Wednesday (05/09/2012).
The meeting is part of the APEC leaders meeting in Vladivostok on September 8 to 9.
The ministerial meeting will be chaired jointly between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Russian Economic Development Minister Andrey Belousov.
From Vladivostok, , Indonesian Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa and Trade Minister Gita Wirjawan will participate in this meeting. In this meeting, the ministers will consider a number of recent issues regarding gande, including the main results of the APEC activities during the year 2012 and will discuss long-term goals and objectives of APEC in 2013.
On the first day of the meeting, the ministers will be discussing major sasarn as strengthening food security, strengthen emergency prapersiapan, support the multilateral trading system,, regional economic integration, as well as trade and investment liberalization. The meeting also listened to a report by the Chairman of Board of Eurasian Economic Commission Viktor Khristenko and Deputy Director General of the World Trade Organiasasi (WTO) Rufus Yerxa.
The ministerial meeting will take place two days until Thursday. On Thursday will discuss about the logistics and transport networks, as well as intensive cooperation in strengthening the growth of innovation. The report will also be presented by the Pacific Economic Cooperation Council (PECC) and the ASEAN group of countries.
