Forbidden Love, These Men Lost Eyes, Lips, and Tongue

A barber in rural Pakistan have lost eyes, lips, and tongue just as romantically involved with a married woman from an influential local family, police said on Thursday (08/23/2012). The officer said, Yousaf Khan (32), the poor man, kidnapped seven members of the family owners of the land. They then gouged out his eyes with a knife and cut off the ears, nose, lips, and tongue. Bloody tragic incident took place in Mirzapur village, Okara District, about 120 kilometers east of Lahore, the main city in the province of Punjab, Pakistan middle. "Yousaf Khan blamed for illicit relations with a woman. We have arrested five perpetrators," said Riaz Khaliq, a police officer involved in the investigation of the case, told AFP by telephone. Riaz said he hoped a man and a woman who was also involved in the gruesome incident would soon be arrested. "The family said they had several times warned Yousaf over illicit relationship and they were forced to take extreme measures to punish the barber," said Riaz. Sanaullah, a police officer in the district are known to have only one name, confirmed the incident and arrest. Police said Khan was taken to a local hospital.
