The occasion is also aimed at strengthening relationship of the members of OWHC to increase their awareness in preserving heritage in the world together. “The conference held in Solo is not a separate agenda but it is actually a united events begin at Safranbolu (Turkey), Kazan (Russia), Lijiang (China), and now Solo (Indonesia). And it will be held continuously so that global awareness toward world heritage becomes the main concern of the future’s development of a city.” says Sagitov.

According to Sagitov, the difference between 3rd WHCCE in Lijiang, China and 4th WHCCE in Solo is; Lijiang, China tangible aspect is more focused than intangible. Meanwhile, in Solo, we focus on both tangible and intangible aspects.
