International Unplug the European Court of Hamas Terrorist Group List


Court of the European Union on Wednesday (12/17/2014), decided to remove the name from the list of terrorist groups Hamas EU but this group's assets while still frozen.

In its official statement the General Court of the European Union said the decision to pull out of the list of terrorist groups Hamas because Hamas's decision to enter into the list of terrorist groups in 2001 was not based on the legal facts.

 The decision to enter into the terrorist group Hamas, said the court based in Luxembourg that, purely based on the conclusions drawn from the various news media and the internet. However, Hamas's assets will temporarily remain frozen for at least three months while waiting for the possibility of an appeal from the European Union. 

Hamas which rules the Gaza Strip since 2007 it has been filed legal action to revoke their names from the EU blacklist. The court decision came hours before the European Parliament is scheduled to take the associated noise recognition of a Palestinian state, after a number of EU member states angered Israel because officially recognize the existence of Palestine. 

Meanwhile, the group Hamas welcomed the court's decision that the European Union and described the verdict as a victory. "This is a victory for Palestine and the victory for the rights of our people," said Hamas spokesman Fawzi Bahrum.

 "We are grateful to the EU court for a positive decision is to be followed by international measures to lift the oppression of the Palestinian people," said Fawzi. Hamas' military wing was first put into the black list of terrorist groups in December 2001 shortly after the Sept. 11 attacks on the twin towers of New York, USA. Then in 2003, the European Union to enter the political wing of Hamas to the black list of terrorist groups.
