Z2272 AirAsia aircraft type Airbus A320 route Manila to Kalibo International Airport, near the tourist area of Boracay, reportedly slipped up over the runway on Tuesday (12/30/2014) afternoon.

An AirAsia Z2272, Jet Damazo-Santos, reported this incident. "Just landed in Kalibo with AirAsia plane skidded past the runway," Jet said through his Twitter account,Jetdsantos on Tuesday, after the reported The Straits Times.
He said the incident was triggered by a tropical storm Seniang which came suddenly in the region.
"The machine (aircraft) immediately switched off. We were asked to leave the luggage and immediately left the plane. Fire trucks have been waiting for.
Visible (incident) handled well," added Jet.
The aircraft is scheduled to depart at 16:15, but was delayed for two hours due to bad weather.
The incident is the second time in 48 hours in the Philippines. Previously, AirAsia had experienced problems in the wheel while in Tagbilaran City, Bohol, Sunday (12/28/2014), so the flight was canceled.
It also occurs in the midst of deadly incidents that fall AirAsia QZ8501 Karimata Strait.
The plane carrying 162 people, consisting of 155 passengers (138 adults, 16 children, 1 baby) and 2 pilots and 5 crew cabin.
The aircraft departed from Surabaya, Saturday (12/28/2014) at 05:20 am, and should arrive in Singapore at 08.30 local time or 07.30 pm.
