International 20 A Rocket Found in UN Schools in Gaza

UN Agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA), Thursday (17/07/2014), say, is conducting an investigation after finding 20 pieces rocket hidden in a UN school in the Gaza Strip.

 UNRWA condemned the incident as a "blatant violation" of international law. "Yesterday (Wednesday), the routine inspection, UNRWA found at least 20 rockets were hidden in a UN school in the Gaza Strip," a statement from UNRWA. "UNRWA strongly condemns the group responsible for the placing of this equipment in one of our installations," the statement added.

 Furthermore, UNRWA said, this is the discovery of weapons in incidents of school buildings first, but this organization asserted that the action was endangering civilians including UNRWA staff. The statement said that UNRWA has provided information to "related parties" and has succeeded in transferring these dangerous objects. A total of 22,000 Gazans fleeing the Israeli air raid shelter in the various UN-run school building. 

However, the school where the discovery of the rockets were not used to evacuate. Israel had previously been accused Hamas and other militant groups in the Gaza Strip using civilian facilities for storing and launching rockets, including rockets were launched before and during the armed conflict with Israel.
