Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Clinton, Ho Ching Will Attend FIABCI congress in Bali


A number of world leaders will attend the World Congress of the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI) to the planned 61 held in Nusa Dua Bali, 24-28 May 2010 to come.

Among Facebook CEO and founder Mark Zueckerberg, Madame Temasek CEO Ho Ching, former U.S. President Bill Clinton.

Minister of Housing Soeharso Monoarfa and DPP Chairman of Real Estate Indonesia Teguh Satria expressed this Tuesday (12/1/10) in Jakarta. Present Chief Organizer of the 61st Congress of FIABCI Pingki Elka Pangestu and Vice Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce Property Division James Riady.

World Congress of the International Real Estate Federation in 2010 took the theme "Save the World: Green Shoots for Sustainable Real Estate". This Congress is an annual meeting attended by industry stakeholders and hundreds of the world property delegation of more than 60 countries with a variety of professions ranging from property developers, brokers, government, consultants, until a lawyer. This 120-member Federation of the real estate professional organization that represents 1.5 million professionals and real estate practitioners 3300.

"President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono planned to open the FIABCI World Congress in Bali, as well as giving keynote speech on global issues and sustainable economic development," said Soeharso Monoarfa Menpera.

A number of world leaders attending the planned FIABCI congress in Bali is Madame Ho Ching (Executive Director & CEO of Temasek of Singapore), Bill Clinton (former President of the United States), Po Si Lai (Chongching Provincial Governor, China), Xu Jiayin (Chairman Evergrande Real Estate Group, the largest property companies listed on Hong Kong Stock Exchange), Madame Zhang Xin (Founder of SOHO China, property millionaires in the field and is known as one of the leading female role in the world of architecture to transform the landscape of Beijing City).

Other world leaders who were invited were Jacques Herzog (a leading architect from Switzerland, known for innovative work of Bird's Nest Beijing National Stadium for the 2008 Beijing Olympics), Skidmore, Owing & Merrill (SOM, a leading architect based in Chicago, USA, and is known as a designer from Nurj Dubai, the tallest building in the world), Mohamed Ali Alabbar (Chairman of Emaar, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, one of the largest property companies in the world).

In addition, the FIABCI World Congress organizers will invite Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook CEO, young entrepreneurs from the U.S. who find social networking applications for Facebook), James T Riady (Lippo Group CEO, Indonesia), Kiew Mun Leong (President & CEO of CapitaLand, a large company property in Singapore are doing the innovation in corporate finance), Ken Yeang (architect of Malaysia, known for its environmentally friendly design), Dato 'Yeoh (Chairman of YTL Land & Dev Bhd, one of Malaysia kongkomerat who have projects environmentally friendly).

Another important figure is scheduled to attend is Peter Barge (Chairman of Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels, Singapore, consultants world-class hotel which involved providing advice on the hospitality sector, both in business transactions, operational, environmental friendly concept), David Hakes (owner Menjangan Resort, Bali, the project offers a unique resort in enjoying nature in the West Bali National Park), Ridwan Kamil (young architect who designed to balance economic, social, ecological), and Made Wijaya (Australian architect who settled in Indonesia since 30 years creating designs lalum landscape and architectural style featuring local culture).

In addition, Menpera Soeharso Monoarfa, Culture and Tourism Jero Wacik, Bali Governor Made Mangku Pastika, national property leader and Chairman of the Ciputra Kadin Indonesia MS Hidayat will appear as a speaker.

According to the Chairman of the DPP REI Teguh Satria, the FIABCI Congress, the Indonesian property intended to encourage stakeholders around the world to commit to and participate and to realize sustainable development in all fields, particularly economic, social, and cultural. This congress will discuss important issues in the property industry such as innovation, finance, eco-property, and tourism.

FIABCI congress in Bali will be held for five days, divided into several activities. The first three days, I focused on committee meetings followed throughout the whole world FIABCI board. In the election held on the occasion the Chairman of the new world of FIABCI period 2011-2012.
